Northern Lights 4-H Club Ice Cream Social

The annual fundraiser for the local 4-H club. It features great homemade pies and ice cream (complimentary to band members!). This is the kickoff for the St. Anthony Park Art Festival and is the first Friday in June.

Lake Como Pavilion

The premiere concert site in St. Paul, Lake Como features a classic lakeside open-air pavilion. This concert always provides a good audience of people, both in the pavilion and strolling around the lake.

Roseville Central Park

This band shell and amphitheater provides a great setting for playing outdoors.

Alden Park

This small neighborhood park hidden in St. Anthony Park has a nice little gazebo that we have since outgrown. The neighborhood always gathers for music and ice cream.

Langford Park (4th of July)

This is the setting for an old-fashioned, all-day 4th of July celebration. We play after the parade around noontime for the opening ceremonies which also feature speeches from politicians and patriotic essays written and read by the local elementary school children. There is always a large crowd in attendance.

Minnesota State Fair Parade

The band always plays the first Friday of the fair for the daily parade. Band members receive free admission to spend the entire day at the fair. We ride along the parade route on a fancy float pulled by tractor. It has been said that you can even find a unicycling crash cymbal player riding alongside the float!

Nursing & Retirement Homes

We also play at various retirement and nursing homes including St. Anthony Park Home, RosePointe, Presbyterian Homes, Shalom Home, Lyngblomsten, and Eagle Crest.
